Well, I'm on day 5 of my exercise regimen. I've either run at least a mile and a half or done a bunch of heavy lifting (yesterday, help a couple of our officers move heavy furniture to our new squad room) up until today. As I have to work the grave shift tonight, I thought it best to sleep in this morning, then exercise in the evening. I definitely prefer to run in the morning -- No food in my system to kick in me in the side. I ran pretty hard for the first three quarters of a mile or so, then it hit me hard. So, I only ran a mile and a quarter today. Guess it's better than nothing.

Overall, though, I must say: I have definitely been feeling better since I started running again. Amazing how that works!
